Really kind staff and magnificent location is a plus. Fairly quiet and tasteful rooms, they provide a laptop, a writing table, and ironing facilities too. Boasts fabulous views over courtyard.

I keep coming back because it has everything I need - Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen, air conditioning. The staff even helped with a wake-up call. It's the perfect place with flat-screen TV, laundry, and a beach. I'll be back for Christmas! No pets or smoking.

The apartment was reasonably priced. Everything felt excellent. The rooms were quiet and new-fashioned with a lovely balcony. Enjoyed great views of the beach. The location was stunning and incredible, on the island of Crete.

The apartment was beautiful and well equipped. The fridge was full of food and beverage that was included in the price, and we got fresh bread delivered on our door for breakfast. The apartment is situated in the old town just above the Venetian harbour, and we had a beautiful view over the harbour, and was close to many good restaurants and shops. The staff (owners) were very helpful and friendly and drove us to a very nice restaurant which was a bit far to reach by foot. They also recommended some restaurants which was very nice. If we are going to stay in Rethymno again, we will certainly choose to stay there the next time.

Since we were four persons (two couples) we would have liked to have two toilets. The balcony was a too small for four persons. Depending on if you are a light sleeper or not, one could hear the beat from the music from bars at the Venetian harbour.

Amazing place to stay close to crete helping, bistros and stores, cafes and restaurants, what I was expecting. Could enjoy my breakfast with personally cooked eggs in the terrace.

Our stay at Casa Maistra Residence was worth every penny - great value for money! The room was spacious, well-equipped, and had lovely finishing touches. The location was perfect, just steps away from amazing shops, the sea, and restaurants. The staff, especially Marinos, treated us with exceptional Greek hospitality. They were always available, helpful, and made us feel safe and well taken care of.

The morning meal could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Superb villa in the centre of town, would definitely recommend! Karen and Marino were consumate hosts, even providing fresh bread in the morning and were available to answer questions about anything. The view from the balcony (we had the 2-bedroom villa) was lovely and the villa was equipped with everything you needed. A lovely place for 4 adults to stay as there are two large double bedrooms

Casa Maistra Residence is one of the few places we have visited that made us feel like home. The Sea View Suite is decorated with such taste and love and there is everything that one could need. The kitchen especially was just amazing and the fridge was equipped with nice surprises like beer, wine, raki, marmalade, butter, etc., which was totally not expected. The location is perfect, just a few steps from nice shops, restaurant, cafes and the Venetian Harbor. The beach is also only 10 minutes away which is very convenient. Karen and Marinos were so kind to us and are both exceptional hosts. They brought us even fresh bread and nice cretan pastry every other morning. One can feel how much they care about the Residence and about their guests. They recommended many nice restaurants and sights and even drove us to a bar that was a bit far away. We have already decided about our next holiday and that will be for sure the Casa Maistra Residence.

The place is perfectly located in a shopping area with beautiful beach views, and the staff are friendly and attentive to customers' needs.

There is really nothing negative I can say about this hotel. OK, maybe a detail: no elevator, but then again, these are heritage buildings in the old city of Rethymno.

The location is excellent right in the centre of the old town. The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped with everything anybody would need during their holiday. All in all, an excellent choice.

The apartment was beautifully designed and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with a picturesque harbor right outside our window. the location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the heart of the old town. This made it convenient for us to explore and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

We did encounter a few negative aspects during our stay. the customer service was not up to par.

So many things to recommend! The whole experience we had was fantastic. Karen and Marinos are wonderful hosts, and have clearly put a huge amount of effort and thought into making their guests welcome and at ease. The little touches are what makes Casa Maistra special. The suites are finished to a very high standard, impeccably clean, and we arrived to find the fridge, fruitbowl and wine rack invitingly full! Location wise, Casa Maistra is very well situated for local restaurants, bars and some very good beaches. You won't be disappointed!
